A Naturopathic Visit
The first naturopathic visit includes a full thorough history intake in order to help cultivate the relationship between patient and doctor, and also to gain crucial information about the patients condition. Remember health is not limited to an organ or a system, health is the totality of the individual. All contributing factors are investigated and assessed during this phase.
An appropriate physical exam will be conducted along with laboratory assessments/tests if required. This will help your doctor obtain a full picture of your condition.
Lifestyle and dietary counseling are given during the first and second visits when appropriate, along with any acute (immediate) care. It usually takes the first and second visits to gather a full treatment plan customized to your specific needs.
